Franklin, Jr. Dr. Franklin is a Presidential Distinguished Professor of Social Ethics at Emory University, Atlanta. He provides commentary for National Public Radio's program, "All Things Considered," and has provided live commentary on religion in public life for CNN-TV. Dr. Franklin is the former president of the Interdenominational Theological Center, the nation's foremost center of historically African American graduate theological education. Dr. Franklin is the author of two books, "Liberating Visions: Human Fulfillment and Social Justice in African American Thought," and "Another Day's Journey: Black Churches Confronting the American Crisis."
